New Chief of Surgery Announced for Guthrie Corning Hospital

Guthrie Corning Hospital is pleased to announce that John F. Olmstead, MD, FACS, has recently accepted the position of Chief of Surgery. Dr. Olmstead, a general surgeon with the Guthrie Medical Group for over 11 years, has now started in his new role at the hospital. Dr. Olmstead specializes in General, Laparoscopic, and Breast Surgery.

Guthrie Hosts Free Healthy Eating Seminars

Guthrie is hosting two free classes on healthy eating, open to the whole community. The Healthy Eating Nutrition class will run on Thursday, Jan. 15 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Patterson Auditorium on the Guthrie Sayre campus, and at the same time in the Boardroom at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.
